Hygiea 10

HygeiaHygiea was a daughter of Asclepius, god of healing, and was herself a minor deity governing health, cleanliness and hygiene, which term derives from her name. Hygiea was a proactive deity, concerned with the prevention of disease and continuation of good health through sanitation and purity.

Astrologically, Hygiea represents “clean living”, efforts to preserve health, cleanliness, sanitation and personal hygiene.
