Trump and Bannon

White House Dramatis Personae, PNA Style

If you’ve ever wondered how certain people gravitate to certain positions, particularly in employment situations, then this expose of PNAs (Personal-Named Asteroids) representing significant White House staffers might prove enlightening.

A chart cast for the Trump administration [20 January 2017, noon, Washington DC] shows all the key players in prominent placement, often accurately describing their various roles. All, that is, except White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus. But you didn’t really expect any PNA matches for that name, did you? But seriously, Priebus’ lack of a strong PNA connection to the administration could mark him as marginalized, ineffective, or not long for the job. But to proceed: Sean Spicer, Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, Michael Flynn, and Stephen Miller all have close PNA referents which make striking appearances in Trump’s White House.

Press Secretary Sean Spicer is represented by three PNAs: Sean, Shawna (a feminine variant) and Spicer. Incredibly, both Spicer at 6 Aquarius and Shawna at 9 Aquarius conjoin the administration’s Sun at 0 Aquarius, a perfect placement for the presidential mouthpiece. It strongly identifies Spicer with the administration in a highly personal, yet public way, and marks Spicer as central to the everyday functioning of the White House. Additionally, asteroid Sean at 3 Aries is within orb of asteroid Troemper at 9 Aries, representing Trump himself, and bringing the pair into close contact on a practical level. Add to this the fact that this placement is itself in square to Trump’s natal Mercury at 8 Cancer, and we can confidently assume that Sean Spicer does, in fact, speak for Trump, without a doubt.

Sean Spice- Oops! No, that’s Melissa MCarthy

Sean Spicer

Sean Spicer, the genuine article.

Not only that, but in Trump’s birth chart [14 June 1946, 10:54 AM EDT, Jamaica, NY] , asteroid Spicer at 11 Aries and Sean at 2 Aries are both squared natal Mercury, strongly reinforcing the sense that Spicer is somehow “destined” to play this part. In fact, Trump had just experienced a “Sean Return” when he chose Spicer as his Press Secretary! Right alongside Sean is asteroid Kassandra at 4 Aries, which neatly defines Spicer’s impossible task: to somehow make Trump seem credible.

White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is the philosophical heart of the administration, the ideas man who molds Trump’s incoherent utterances into policy proposals. Unfortunately, there is no “Bannon” PNA, but using asteroid Banno gives us an accurate description of his role. At 23 Aries, Banno conjoins both Uranus at 20 Aries and Eris at 22 Aries, while opposing Jupiter at 22 Libra and forming a T-Square with asteroid Whitehouse at 22 Capricorn. This clearly establishes Bannon as the true political (Jupiter) revolutionary (Uranus) in the Oval Office (Whitehouse), focused on disruption (Uranus) and troublemaking in general (Eris). At the CPAC conference in February, Bannon described one of his chief goals while in power as “the deconstruction of the administrative state.” It might be worth noting here that asteroid Whitehouse is closely accompanied by asteroid Apophis at 21 Capricorn, a point named for the ancient Egyptian personification of pure evil. This could connote an inimical or malign influence in the Oval Office, and with this strong PNA connection, there’s reason to believe the chief villain in the piece could be Bannon.

Trump and Bannon

Steve Bannon, power behind the throne?

Additionally, asteroid Stevens at 0 Libra forms an exact trine to the administration Sun, and is in a very powerful position, at its station degree, about to turn retrograde the day after the inauguration. This point, which also represents Stephen Miller (whom we’ll discuss shortly) shows Bannon as entrenched and dug in, one of the still points upon which the White House revolves.

Confirmation of Bannon’s importance to Trump personally can be seen in the natal placement of these points. Asteroid Stevens at 24 Taurus exactly conjoins Trump’s natal IC, suggesting Steve Bannon as a foundational figure, while asteroid Banno at 23 Scorpio, in opposition, is just a degree off Trump’s Midheaven, showing someone vital in Trump’s career arc.

Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s final campaign manager (of three), was named Counselor to the president, but often seems somewhat out of the loop in White House decision-making. And in fact, she doesn’t show strongly in the administration chart per se, with the strongest contact from PNA Kelly being an inconjunct to the Moon. Regardless, there’s a strong personal connection with Trump himself, as asteroid Kelly at 11 Aries, closely conjoined Troemper at 9 Aries, attests. Not only that, but asteroid Kelly in Trump’s natal chart falls at 21 Leo, conjoined natal Mars at 26 Leo and the Ascendant at 29. This shows Conway as intimately involved, not just in defending Trump and running the campaign (both Mars), but also in the development of his image or public persona (Ascendant). As an angular point, Kelly makes a bold statement in Trump’s life.

Michael Flynn, erstwhile National Security Adviser, only lasted 24 days with the administration before the scandal of his contacts with the Russian ambassador, and his subsequent lying about these, forced his precipitate resignation. Nevertheless, his participation is clear to see, in the placement of asteroid Flynn at 21 Aquarius, closely trine Jupiter, ruling foreign affairs, at 22 Libra. Ironically, Flynn is also closely conjunct asteroid Damocles at 22 Aquarius, a point representing the doom that hangs unseen overhead, which in this case, caught up with Flynn in record time. Not to be outdone, asteroid Michela, a “Michael” variant, falls at 5 Sagittarius, sextile the administration Sun, but more importantly, forming the base of a Yod, or Finger of Destiny, by inconjunct aspects from it and the Sun to asteroid Lie at 0 Cancer. This perfectly depicts Flynn’s political discomfiture, ostensibly fired for lying to the Vice President about the extent of his Russian connections.

Michael Flynn

Michael Flynn, pre Sword of Damocles

As if to punctuate the point, natal asteroid Michela at 17 Taurus exactly conjoins Trump’s natal asteroid Lie! And asteroid Flynn at15 Gemini is within orb of Trump’s Sun/Uranus conjunction at 22 and 17 Gemini. This establishes Flynn as a disruptive influence (Uranus), but also someone close to Trump personally (Sun), with Flynn sticking like glue to the candidate throughout the campaign, traveling everywhere with him, and reportedly one of few who could calm Trump, once riled.

Lastly, we come to Stephen Miller. With the job title of “White House Senior Advisor”, Miller was key in crafting the first executive order attempting to establish a travel ban on persons from several predominantly Muslim nations. Done without consultation with appropriate Cabinet agencies or the White House legal team, the poorly crafted ban was struck down by Federal courts almost immediately, but not before it created intense havoc and confusion, as well as massive protests, at airports across the country on the weekend it was implemented. Miller appeared on various Sunday news shows to defend the order, stating to George Stephanopoulos that “Our opponents, the media, and the whole world will soon see, as we begin to take further actions, that the powers of the president … are very substantial and will not be questioned.” Wow! Authoritarianism, here we come!

Stephen Miller

Stephen Miller, Goebbels-in-training

We’ve already noted the vital placement of asteroid Stevens, stationary and in exact trine to the administration Sun, which here also represents Stephen Miller. But just in case you had any lingering doubts about whether or not Miller’s statements truly reflect Trump and the White House, take a look at the placement of asteroid Miller, which at 0 Aquarius is an exact match for the Trump administration’s Sun! This man, his ideas and rhetoric, is a precise conduit for what the administration genuinely believes in its core being: Trump is the absolute law of the land, and will brook no restriction or curb on his authority.

Recall also that asteroid Stevens appears exactly on Trump’s natal IC, and add to that the fact that natally asteroid Miller at 29 Gemini falls within orb of Trump’s Sun at 22 Gemini, and the implication is clear: there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between the two.

It may seem improbable, even astounding, to find so many applicable PNAs collected in such appropriate and meaningful ways in the founding chart for the Trump administration, but in reality, this type of linkage is quite common, even routine. However inscrutable, the timing of the cosmos is always perfect.
