Hebe 6

HebeHebe was the daughter of Zeus and Hera, King and Queen of the Greek gods. She was a goddess of eternal youth, pictured as a nubile young girl; her primary function at Olympus was as cupbearer to the gods, whom she served with nectar and ambrosia. She performed other menial tasks as well, such as drawing baths and assisting her mother into her chariot. Her name was incorporated into modern psychology in the term “hebephilia”, which is sexual attraction for post-pubescent youth, often confused with pedophilia, attraction for prepubescent children.

Astrologically Hebe represents service, especially household or domestic service, but also related to food service, such as waiters and waitresses. When in aspect to Mars or Venus, or constellated with other minor bodies representing sexuality, Hebe can also indicate sexual attraction for persons under legal age, but sexually mature. In her capacity as servant, she can also indicate issues with enabling.
