Comey to Trump: You’re F**ked! A Real-Time Episode of “The L Word”

trump comeyOn Thursday, June 8, 2017, former FBI Director James Comey appeared before the Senate Intelligence Committee to speak about his interactions with Donald Trump. In nearly three hours of testimony, Comey laid out a case that looks a lot like potential obstruction of justice, detailing how Trump first appeared to dangle the prospect of job loss over him at a private White House dinner in January, suggesting that many others were anxious to have his position. Comey alleges that Trump then attempted to extract a pledge of loyalty from him at this time, to which he gave no direct answer.

Comey continues that in February, the day after former NSA Michael Flynn’s forced resignation, Trump shooed all other attendees out of the room, including Comey’s boss, AG Jess Sessions, WH Chief of Staff Reince Priebus, and his own son-in-law Jared Kushner, so he and Comey could be alone. He then opined that he “hoped” Comey could “let go” of the investigation into Flynn’s possibly illegal activities, since he was “a good guy” and had already paid the penalty in his resignation. Comey agreed with Flynn’s essential “goodness”, but did not end the investigation.

Comey furthered detailed several phone calls during the period from the transition to his firing on May 9, where he sensed that Trump was attempting to cultivate him or develop a patronage relationship. All of these calls and meetings were documented by Comey in their immediate aftermath in personal memos, and much of this information was included in Comey’s prior written testimony to the Committee, released the day before his Senate hearing.

comey testimony june

James Comey is sworn at Senate Intelligence Committee, 8 June 2017

This pre-release robbed Comey’s live testimony of any shock value, but the former Director acquitted himself well, seeming to provide an honest, straightforward account of his interactions as he saw them, even when his own actions reflected poorly on his judgment, responses, or lack thereof. On several occasions, Comey forthrightly characterized Donald Trump as a “liar”, openly using “the L word” as a descriptor of the current occupant of the Oval Office.

In a late afternoon press conference that day from Trump’s personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, and then in person via tweets and a press conference the following day, Trump denied the allegations, calling Comey’s testimony “untrue” and citing him as “leaker” for his distribution of those personal memos to the media, through an intermediary. Comey had testified that he released the memo following Trump “defaming” him and the FBO after his firing, in hopes it would prompt the appointment of a Special Counsel.

Trumps responds: White House Rose Garden, 9 June 2017

This case of “he said, he said” is well portrayed by the celestial transits of the day. Asteroid Troemper has shown itself to work effectively as a stand-in for “Trump”, while Combe seems to suit “Comey”. These two have been within orb of each other since late April, and will continue to be within five degrees until late August, though they will never actually meet at the same degree before separating again.

So they were conjunct for Trump’s firing of Comey, and are still together in the chart for his testimony, which began with his being sworn at 10:18 AM EDT in Washington, DC on 8 June 2017. The difference is the Sun. This had now caught up with the linked pair, and at the hearing, Combe appears at 16 Gemini, with the Sun at 17 (moving to 18 degrees mere minutes after the testimony began) and Troemper at 19 Gemini. Thus the Sun, which brings illumination, insight and understanding, is highlighting both antagonists, and hopefully providing a clearer picture of the situation.

The supporting cast includes asteroid Memoria (literally “memory”, and memory aids), representing Comey’s memoranda, at 13 Gemini, conjunct Combe; and asteroid James, Comey’s first name, in exact square to Combe from 16 Pisces, where it conjoins Neptune at 14 Pisces, ruling lies, deception, and victimization. Also of note is asteroid Askalaphus, noted for tale-bearing and often active when testimony is given, especially regarding whistleblowing, which at 20 Sagittarius opposes the entire solar stellium, but most closely opposing Troemper.

This is significant enough, but there is a stunning Mirror Configuration, with no less than eight bodies at 26 degrees of their various Signs, centered on a Fixed Grand Cross. This central pattern is comprised of an exact opposition from asteroid Washingtonia at 26 Scorpio to Kassandra at 26 Taurus, establishing issues of credibility for the Oval Office as the main theme of the day. Who is the more believable – Comey, with a record of public service and bipartisanship extending over a decade, or Trump, with undisputed half-truths, exaggerations, misspeaks and outright lies proceeding from his mouth on a regular basis?

This is at crossed swords with the Nodal Axis at 26 Leo/Aquarius, lending a karmic or “fated” feel to the proceedings, and including Damocles, that doom hanging unseen overhead, exactly conjunct the South Node, describing our prior acts and bad habits, at 26 Aquarius. This sense of fatal character flaws leading to impending destruction for the White House was palpable at the hearing, likely exacerbated by the presence of asteroid Whitehouse at 29 Aquarius, also with Damocles and the South Node.

Feeding off this central pattern are four semisextile aspects which create a perfectly symmetrical overall structure. First is asteroid Truth, which at 26 Cancer is semisextile the North Node. Next is asteroid America, at 26 Pisces in semisextile to the South Node and Damocles. These trine each other, a supportive aspect, and this seems to suggest that truth is being presented to the nation that day.

Also of interest are asteroids Pandora and Roberts, both at 26 Libra in semisextile to Washingtonia; these symbolize the unleashing of unexpected consequences based in poor judgment (Pandora), and the newly appointed Special Counsel, Robert Mueller (Roberts), who has to open the Pandora’s Box of these investigations and release whatever ills he finds there. On the other side of Washingtonia is Saturn, which at 25 Sagittarius is the only point at variance with the 26 degree structure in the pattern. Saturn represents the Chief Executive, as well as government generally, and the potential penalties to be accrued from illegal actions.

The celestial timing required to bring all these points into such symmetrical resonance at this time, in a way so precisely descriptive of the details, is truly astounding. The implication is of great matters afoot, though the outcome is still in doubt.

Not to be forgotten, Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin are also present in the proceedings, in the form of asteroid Russia at 13 Cancer, conjoined asteroid Veritas, Latin for “truth”, at 12 Cancer (which is itself semisquare and sesquiquadrate to the Grand Cross, tying it directly), and asteroid Moskva, Russian for Moscow, which at 4 Gemini conjoins Mercury, representing the actual testimony and the news of the day, at 3 Gemini. As the underlying basis for the investigation is possible collusion between the Trump Campaign and Russian agents attempting to interfere with the 2016 election, this seems apt. Veritas is itself trine to James at 16 Pisces, lending veracity to Comey’s claims and his version of the “truth.”

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – “as above, so below!”
