Trump’s Noose Tightens
Well, he’s done it again – Trump continues to break records, right and left. He’s now the first former US President to be referred for criminal charges. On Monday, 19 December 2022, the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the United States Capitol gave Americans an early Christmas gift, when it voted unanimously to send four criminal referrals for Donald J. Trump to the Justice Department, based on his actions that day and in the preceding months since the 2020 election. The House doesn’t have the power to file charges on its own behalf, but can recommend legal action to the DOJ, known to be deep into its own investigation of the insurrection planned, prompted and encouraged by the disgraced 45th President.
Committee Chair Representative Bennie Thompson (D-MS) gaveled in the proceedings at 1 PM EST in Washington, and a chart set for that time suggests vulnerability and long overdue accountability for Trump, with key connections to the natal chart that spell a rough road ahead for the Grifter-in-Chief.
Asteroid Troemper, our celestial referent for The Donald, has been traveling with asteroid Karma for months, and will continue to do so well into 2023, affording an extended period where Trump is more than usually susceptible to being called to account for his actions. At 3 and 5 Capricorn, this pairing conjoins the 10 Capricorn MC, making Trump the focus of all eyes in that moment. Troemper also conjoins the Sun at 27 Sagittarius, rapidly approaching their exact union on December 28th, further highlighting Trump’s troubles. Asteroid Donn at 3 Libra in square reinforces the personal connection, doubling down on the sense of pending comeuppance. An opposition to asteroid Merrick at 5 Capricorn makes this a T-Square and brings US Attorney General Merrick Garland into the picture, the man who will have final say on whether charges are filed. Conjunct the 10 Cancer IC, Merrick shares angular visibility with Trump.
The transit T-Square overlays a natal T-Square in Trump’s chart, conjunct asteroid Whitehouse at 4 Capricorn, opposed asteroid Washington at 2 Cancer with Mercury at 8 Cancer, and Neptune on the fulcrum at 5 Libra. This neatly encapsulates two of the charges, that Trump conspired to defraud the United States and make a false statement. Neptune rules conspiracy and fraud or deception, Mercury combined with it indicates “false (Neptune) statements (Mercury)”. Whitehouse represents Trump’s time in the presidency, Washingtonia serves as a marker for the US, with their opposition portraying Trump at odds with his own government. The transit overlay brings accountability for these acts (Karma) into real time for the former president (Donn, Troemper), possibly via the agency of the current US AG (Merrick), actualizing the potential of the natal configuration.
The referral for criminal prosecution is seen as asteroid d’Arrest at 19 Scorpio, exactly squared asteroid Justitia at 19 Aquarius. d’Arrest represents charges filed, indictments handed down, detention and arrest, while Justitia, named for the Roman goddess of justice and the root of our word, represents the Justice Department. Uranus at 15 Taurus, ruling rebellion, forms a T-Square, depicting a third charge, that of fomenting, conspiring to commit or supporting an insurrection. Justitia also conjoins Saturn at 21 Aquarius, a sign that penalties or punishments might be looming. Moreover, Justitia has just returned to its natal degree in Trump’s chart, at 18 Aquarius, affording a reset of the natal potential for interactions with the justice system. The recent Lunar Eclipse at 16 Taurus/Scorpio is energizing this T-Square and natal Justitia, lending additional power and potency.
Committee Chair Bennie Thompson is seen as asteroid Thompson, which at 17 Capricorn exactly conjoins Mercury, both on the 10 Cap MC, and closely squares asteroid America at 16 Libra, on the 18 Libra Descendant. This represents Thompson (Thompson) speaking (Mercury) for the country (America), and sharing center stage (MC) with Trump. America also conjoins Trump’s natal Jupiter at 17 Libra, ruling politics and the judicial system generally. On the midpoint, in semisquare to both Mercury/Thompson and America/Jupiter, is asteroid Washingtonia at 3 Sagittarius, which also conjoins Trump’s natal asteroid Troemper at 2 Sag, once again binding the principals and the themes in play.
Asteroid House, for the US House of Representatives, falls at 18 Sagittarius, opposing asteroid Achilles exact with Mars at 12 Gemini, indicating the exposure of weakness or vulnerability, with asteroids Whitehouse and Themis, named for the Greek goddess of justice, at 14 and 18 Pisces on the fulcrum of a T-Square, again reflecting Trump as former president, in a clash with the Justice Department (Themis), prompted by the House Select Committee (House). Mars in the mix suggests an energized response, an active pursuit of the charges referred. House further conjoins Trump’s natal Moon at 21 Sagittarius, implying an emotional reaction from the proceedings (though Trump is likely more agitated by the release from the House Ways and Means Committee, on the following day, of tax returns he has been fighting to keep private for six years, which show him to be a business failure, fraud and liar). Achilles conjoins Trump’s natal pairing of Uranus with asteroid Themis, both at 17 Gemini, perhaps a suggestion that his life-long “get out of jail (Themis) free (Uranus)” card is about to expire.
It will likely be weeks, if not months, before any result is seen from these referrals, and it could take years, given trials and appeals, until Donald Trump finds himself fitted with an orange jumpsuit, if ever. But let’s not forget that two Solar Eclipses activate The Donald’s natal asteroid d’Arrest in 2023, affording plenty of fire power for indictments, charges filed and arrest. It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….

… it certainly is. Thank you!

I love it, especially the long transiting conjunction of Troemper and Karma! I would love to time travel say a hundred years into the future and sit in on a history class and see what future historians have to say about the 45th President. It probably won’t be flattering! Thanks, Alex!
