Asbolus 8405

AsbolusAsbolus was a centaur, a seer, augur, or prophet for his people, who read signs in the flight of birds. He anticipated the devastating battle with the Lapiths at the wedding of their king, where many centaurs died, and warned them against attending, but went unheeded. The name Asbolus was given to a centaur, one of a group of minor bodies orbiting between Jupiter and Neptune.

Astrologically, Asbolus is noted as indicating persons able to tap into the zeitgeist, or “spirit of the times”, those who have their finger on the pulse of events and trends, able to anticipate the future. Often their advice or input is rejected, as being ahead of its time. They have strong intuition and may possess psychic gifts.
