At precisely 11 AM EDT on May 29th, 2019, former Special Counsel Robert Mueller finally spoke publically about his investigation of Russian interference with the 2016 presidential election, Russian contacts with the Trump Campaign, and Donald Trump’s efforts to hamper that investigation, more than two years after it began. It was Mueller’s first public statement on the matter, and it fell into the body politic with a resounding boom.
In a carefully worded nine minute speech, Mueller reiterated the key findings of his Report, as well as undercutting the false narratives promulgated by Attorney General William Barr and the President himself, in citing “no collusion, no obstruction” as its conclusions. Mueller deconstructed their arguments with surgical precision, stressing the massive, determined efforts by the Russians to affect the election’s outcome, that their meddling was concentrated on helping Trump win, and that the investigation was focused, not on the broader concept of “collusion”, but the much narrower ground of “criminal conspiracy”, which could not be conclusively proved.
More damning still, Mueller confirmed that he had not even considered bringing charges against Trump, not because he wasn’t guilty, but rather because he was not allowed, by law and DOJ policy, to indict a sitting President. He repeated his statement that “If [the Special Counsel’s office] had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so.” Mueller expressed his hope (likely a false one) that this could be his last word on the subject, and stressed that, if called to testify before Congress, he would only repeat the findings of his investigation, and address no other issues. He then left, without taking questions, presumably to pack up his desk and tender his resignation.
But that was hardly the end of the matter, nor is this likely to be the last we hear from the former Special Counsel on this issue.
As always, the timing of the cosmos is impeccable. The 11 AM chart has 15 Leo Rising, closely conjunct Robert Mueller’s (born 8.7.44, no time available) natal Sun at 14 Leo, emphasizing him in the moment. The 15 Aquarius Descendant exactly conjoins his natal asteroid Truth, as well as natal Roberts at 16 Aquarius, highlighting the solar opposition and PNA contact which makes him such a credible, trustworthy individual, a truth-sayer with integrity and honor.
The 7 Taurus Midheaven is conjoined by transit asteroid Mueller at 13 Taurus, elevated at the top of the chart, making the Special Counsel the focus of all eyes, as he surely was in the moment. Mueller is conjunct Venus at 17 Taurus, and in trine to asteroid America at 11 Virgo, calling Mueller’s countrymen (America) to consider their values and the moral, ethical implications (Venus) of the President’s conduct.
Also here on the MC, broadly conjoined Mueller, is Uranus at 4 Taurus, representing the shock waves which Mueller’s speech sent through the political sphere, with several more contenders for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination coming out in its aftermath in favor of beginning impeachment inquiries.
The transit Sun at 7 Gemini conjoins asteroid Washingtonia at 4 Gemini, opposing asteroid Truth at 11 Sagittarius and T-squaring America at 11 Virgo. The focus of the day is Truth, as imparted to the American people, dispensed from the US capital. This T-Square overlays one of Mueller’s natal configurations, comprised of an exact pairing of asteroid Troemper with Uranus at 12 Gemini, Mercury at 12 Virgo with a Mars/Chiron combination at 16, and asteroid Washingtonia at 12 Sagittarius. Troemper/Uranus encompasses the potential Mueller has for evoking a shock to Trump’s system, something controversial and volatile, conveyed verbally or in print (both Mercury), which challenges or threatens (both Mars) and provides a wound (Chiron) to a government official (Washingtonia). The transit overlay reiterates the DC connection (Washingtonia), bringing the issue into bold relief (Sun) for the country (America), with the accent on the facts (Truth).
The transit Moon at 10 Aries squares a Mars/Nemesis conjunction at 8 and 11 Cancer, with Mars exactly conjunct Trump’s natal Mercury, and the Moon highlighting his natal asteroids Russia and Mueller at 12 and 13 Aries. “Them’s fightin’ words,” could be one interpretation of transit Mars on Trump’s Mercury, and the President has responded in kind since the speech, with additional attacks on Mueller’s character, loyalties and agenda. Nemesis refers to an implacable opponent, a major obstruction (no pun intended), or one’s ruin or downfall, often self-created. Transit Mueller/Venus also conjoins Trump’s natal asteroid Lie, Venus exactly, emphasizing his essential untruthfulness, while transit Mercury at 17 Gemini exactly conjoins Trump’s natal Uranus, binging more shocks and revelations, also within orb of his natal Sun at 22 Gemini.
Mueller’s antagonistic stance toward Trump and his alliance with truth is also reflected in transit Roberts, conjunct transit Lie, at 23 and 25 Aries, squared transit Troemper with Pluto and Saturn, at 27, 22 and 19 Capricorn respectively, and T-squared transit asteroid Veritas, Latin for “truth”, at 27 Libra. Note that Veritas is exactly squared Troemper; Truth is at odds with the President here. Filling in a Grand Cross is Trump’s natal Saturn/Karma, both at 23 Cancer with Venus at 25, intimating a fated comeuppance (Karma) for ethical/moral choices (Venus) related to career (Saturn). Joining this pattern is Mueller’s natal Whitehouse at 26 Cancer, and Roberta at 20, with natal Nemesis, that point of ruin or undoing, at 21 Capricorn.
Troemper is also at the Apex of a Yod, or Finger of Destiny, with inconjuncts to asteroid Whitehouse at 25 Gemini and Roberta, another marker for Robert Mueller, at 25 Leo. This suggests a predetermined (Yod) circumstance binding the Special Counsel (Roberta) with the Oval Office (Whitehouse). Whitehouse also conjoins Trump’s natal Sun, while Roberta falls on his natal Mars/Ascendant.
Another stunning example of how integrated the cosmos is with the daily warp and woof of life here on Planet Earth, where there’s never a dull moment, at least not while Trump sits in the Oval Office.
