Juno 3
Juno was the Roman goddess of marriage and childbirth, wife of Jupiter and Queen of the Gods. She was the patron goddess of Rome, and protectress of Roman women in particular. Essentially a knock-off of Greek Hera, Juno’s mythic backstory is thinner, but she also had special affinities with war and councils of state.
The asteroid Juno was the third to be discovered, in 1804. It is the eleventh largest, with approximately 1% of the total mass of the Asteroid Belt.
Astrologically, Juno represents marriage and childbirth; partnerships of all kinds, but especially domestic; jealousy in relationship; and protection or patronage.
