Of Trillionaires, Treaties, Triumphs and Travesties
June 2026 saw a bevy of controversies, eccentricities, and record setting. If this is what Uranus in Gemini is going to be like, hold onto your hats for the next seven years! Throughout, referential asteroids in significant placement tell the tales, from an NBA championship to an insulted Italian Prime Minister, a tentative peace deal, a rectified name change, and the world’s first trillionaire.
KNICKS IN FOUR
The New York Knickerbockers ended a 53-year-long dry spell on June 13th when they rousted the San Antonio Spurs 4-1 in the NBA Finals, becoming the 2025-2026 season champions. The Knicks’ incredible run of 13 consecutive wins in post-season play was interrupted only by a loss in Game Three, attended by a sleepy Donald Trump, who dozed off during the match. Now, I’m not saying Trump’s presence was the cause of that loss, but I’m not not saying it, either. Regardless, the temporary speedbump was negotiated, and New Yorkers went wild, with the Big Apple a sea of Knicks orange and blue, and the traditional tickertape parade.
When the series began on June 3rd, there were significant celestial factors predicting a Knicks win. As you might suspect, there’s no Knickerbocker asteroid, but the team is commonly referenced by the diminutive “Knicks,” and there is a Nicky asteroid, #4755, a close phonetic match. At 6 Virgo, Nicky conjoins asteroid TRIUMF 14959 at 7 Virgo. TRIUMF is named for an acronym of a Canadian science research facility, but functions as its homophone “triumph,” meaning an unqualified success.
That pretty much says it all right there, but the cosmos likes to guild the lily, so Nicky/TRIUMF finds itself on the fulcrum of a T-Square with Uranus at 2 Gemini, suggesting the excitement generated by the team, and asteroid Champion 8732 at 1 Sagittarius, which speaks for itself. As well, the Sun for the start of the finals at 13 Gemini is squared Nicky, placing the Knicks in the spotlight, with asteroid Manhattan 12464 at 7 Aquarius at station, representing the Knicks’ hometown. Manhattan turned retrograde the following day, conjunct Pluto at 5 Aquarius, squared Mars at 11 Taurus, indicating an embedded, immovable stance (station) and a transformative, regenerating rebirth (Pluto) for the hometown sports team (Mars).
THE ART OF THE REPEAL
On 12 June 2026, Judge Christopher Cooper denied the Trump administration’s eleventh-hour appeal to stay his ruling that Donald Trump’s name must be removed from the John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts. Trump had plastered his name above Kennedy’s last December, coopting the facility’s prestige for himself in a branding exercise to enhance his legacy in the nation’s capital, but Cooper ruled that the Kennedy Center had been established by Congress, and only Congress could change the name.
Scaffolding was erected, and a crowd had gathered to witness the event, chanting “Take it down!”, but were stymied in their objective of witnessing Trump’s diminution when tarps were hung across the work space, and the work did not commence until the following morning. As of June 21st, that tarp remains, covering Trump’s shame.
Once again, celestial factors describe the event. The 21 Gemini Sun opposed asteroid Troemper 28130 at 24 Sagittarius, our cosmic referent for The Donald, places Trump in the spotlight, and forms the String of a Grand Trine Kite pattern, with trines from Treomper to asteroids America 916 at 28 Leo and NOT 2857 at 29 Aries, which acts as a general disqualifier of symbol of negation. This suggests a celestial endorsement that the US (America) is not (NOT) Trump’s (Troemper) personal property after all, to do with as he pleases.
A Grand Cross tells the rest of the tale. An exact opposition from Mars at 18 Taurus to asteroid Justitia 269 at 18 Scorpio anchors the pattern, fleshed out by squares to asteroid Christophe 1698 at 23 Aquarius and a triple conjunction of asteroids Donn, Washingtonia and Brandia at 15 and 22 Leo. This shows the judiciary (Justitia, named for the Roman goddess of justice), in the form of Judge Christopher Cooper (Christophe) taking direct action (Mars) to forestall Trump’s (Donn) attempt to brand (Brandia) DC (Washingtonia) with his name. Cooper is embedded at station, turning retrograde two days later, signaling an entrenched stance from the judge.
A TRILLION HERE, A TRILLION THERE – SOON WE’RE TALKING REAL MONEY!
Also on June 12th, Elon Musk set a new record for obscene wealth, when the NASDAQ IPO for his SpaceX company pushed the eccentric innovator’s personal worth over the $1 trillion mark, making him the world’s first trillionaire.
Wealth in general was highlighted by a T-Square formed of the Sun at 21 Gemini conjoined asteroid Midas 1981 at 15 Gemini, named for the mythic Greek king whose mere touch turned everything to gold, exactly opposed asteroid Reich 29185 (German for “rich”) at 21 Sagittarius, with asteroid Fortuna 19 (Latin for “fortune”) at 19 Virgo on the fulcrum.
Jupiter (excess, increase) at 26 Cancer conjunct Venus (money, self-valuation) at 29 Cancer was joined by asteroid Richer 755002 at 20 Cancer, itself denoting monetary increase, with this trio opposed asteroid Muskau 29053 at 28 Capricorn, closest to “Musk,” identifying toward where all this largesse was flowing.
Asteroid Ilona 1182 at 15 Libra, closest phonetically to Elon, appears at station, marking a major turning point for Musk. Uranus at 2 Gemini, ruling record-breaking and record-setting, is sesquiquadrate Ilona, and accompanied by asteroids Ricco 18462, Italian for “rich,” and Trillium 22494, closest to “trillion,” at 9 and 4 Gemini respectively.
Born 28 June 1971 at 7:30 AM SAST in Pretoria, South African (Rodden Rating B), Elon Musk’s birth chart also sports a Ricco/Trillium conjunction, at 7 and 4 Taurus, with Trillium exactly semisquare natal Venus at 19 Gemini (conjoined by the Sun for his elevation to trillionaire status).
Musk’s 9 Cancer Sun is exactly squared by Uranus at 9 Libra, making him inventive, innovative, volatile and controversial, but also connecting with both electricity and space travel, Uranus-ruled, representing his electric vehicle company, Tesla, and his space exploration company, SpaceX. With the Sun conjoined Mercury at 14 Cancer, it is Musk’s ideas that set him apart, and a conjunction with the 13 Cancer Ascendant showcases that intellect for all the world to see. A T-Square is formed with an opposition to asteroid Richer at 7 Capricorn, indicating a propensity for continual financial advancement (Richer) via those innovative (Uranus) ideas (Mercury). Also part of the T-Square, asteroids Victoria 12 at 18 Capricorn, named for the Roman goddess of victory, and asteroid Nike 307, named for her Greek counterpart, which at 15 Libra was exactly conjoined by the stationary Ilona for Musk’s founding of the Trillionaire’s Club. Together, they give Musk a strong “winning” vibe.
Natal Saturn at 1 Gemini is grouped with asteroids Fortuna and Midas at 28 and 29 Taurus, offering a solid foundation and grounding (Saturn) in vast wealth (Midas, Fortuna) acquired via career (Saturn). This trio forms a T-Square by opposition to Jupiter at 27 Scorpio, suggesting expansion and increase, with asteroid Ilonna on its fulcrum at 25 Leo, personalizing these energies to Musk.
Also of note, asteroid Reich, which at 19 Scorpio is at station, making wealth a defining feature of Musk’s biography.
THE MULLAH THAT ROARED
On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, Donald Trump signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Iran’s government, in Versailles, France, while attending the G7 conference, effectively conceding defeat by the Islamic Republic. After weeks of intense bombing, alternating social media threats and blandishments, a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz which had already been closed by Iran, a global energy crisis spiking gas and oil prices, and an estimated cost to the US taxpayer of $132 billion, the US came away from the negotiating table with little more than a restoration of shipping in the Strait, which was open before the war, and a vague promise to revisit the nuclear development program somewhere down the line.
Iran reaped more benefit from the tentative agreement than it could have anticipated in its wildest dreams: lifted sanctions, restored frozen assets to the value of $125 billion, empowered to sell oil on the global market, with $300 billion in economic development funds, guaranteed by the US, a status quo agreement for their nuclear program to continue, and the prospect of collecting transit fees for the previously free Strait of Hormuz. Perhaps it’s time for a revised edition of Trump’s “The Art of the Deal,” with a forward by Iranian mullahs.
The diplomatic debacle is vividly portrayed in a T-Square with the 26 Gemini Sun conjoined asteroid Versailles 6268 at 1 Cancer, identifying the venue for the defeat, opposed a pairing of points representing the prime antagonists, asteroids Troemper and Irani 18987 at 23 and 27 Sagittarius, with asteroid Pax 679 at 22 Virgo on the fulcrum, named for the Latin word for “peace,” symbolizing the long-term goal of the MOU. As well, a conjunction of Mercury and Jupiter at 20 and 27 Cancer opposed asteroid Nemesis 128 at 20 Capricorn depicts discussions, agreements and the signing (all Mercury) of a document (also Mercury) involving foreign relations (Jupiter) between avowed enemies (Nemesis).
Two additional T-Squares flesh out the details. Saturn at 13 Aries opposed asteroid Achilles 588 at 10 Libra, with asteroid Memoria 1247 on the fulcrum, portrays the weakness and vulnerability (Achilles, as in “Achilles heel”) of a presidency (Saturn) as witnessed by the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (Memoria). And a combination of Venus at 4 Leo opposed asteroid Whitehouse 4036 with Pluto at 2 and 5 Aquarius, with asteroid NOT on the fulcrum at 1 Taurus ( general disqualifier or symbol of negation), suggests administration (Whitehouse) diplomats and negotiators (Venus; led by real estate moguls Steve Witkoff and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, neither of whom have any expertise on nuclear matters or foreign relations) who were unqualified for the task (NOT), and yielded a devastating result (Pluto).
HE SAID, SHE SAID: THE TRUMP-MELONI FRACAS
Donald Trump’s visit to the G7 economic summit on June 15-17 made a few headlines, with Trump using the Versailles venue to sign a “Memorandum of Understanding” with Iran, a tentative first step to ending the conflict between the Islamic Republic and the US, as described above. The bombs may be halted there, but Trump has started a new barrage with a staunch European ally, when in the aftermath of the summit, he stated in a phone interview with Italian broadcaster La7 that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, also attending, had drawn him aside and “begged” him for a photo with her.
The snippet was released the day after the conference ended, with Trump alleging, “She begged me to take a photo with her. She wanted a photo with me so badly — I could have skipped it, but I felt sorry for her. She’s probably happy I talked to her. I didn’t have to talk to her. She was a big fan but I don’t want her as a fan because she was not there [in the Iran conflict] — along with the NATO group — having to do with the strait.”
Meloni was quick to clap back, in a video social media post on the 19th, where she denied Trump’s claims. “Donald Trump’s statements are completely fabricated. I am frankly stunned, I don’t know why the president of the United States behaves this way with his own allies,” Meloni said. “It’s not, after all, the first time this has happened,” adding for emphasis, “I and Italy never beg.”
The Sun at 27 Gemini conjunct asteroid Italia 477 at 26 Gemini and opposed asteroid Troemper at 23 Sagittarius keeps The Donald (Troemper) in the spotlight (Sun), specifically as regards the Italian Prime Minister (Italia). The deceptive nature of the fracas is seen in several ways, including asteroid Bugyi 301946 at 17 Sagittarius, conjoined Troemper, with Bugyi cognate to the Italian word “bugia,” meaning “lie.”
The clash between truth and fiction is further displayed by a T-Square from Venus at 5 Leo to Pluto with asteroid Whitehouse at 5 and 2 Aquarius, and a grouping of asteroids NOT, Photographica 443 and Lie 26955 at 1, 2 and 5 Taurus. Simply put, the US President (Whitehouse) is lying (Lie) about a request for a picture (Photographica) with a female leader (Venus), who made no such request (NOT).
Giorgia Meloni with truth on her side in this controversy is seen as asteroid Giorgini 6775 (alternate form of Giorgia) at 6 Gemini conjunct Uranus (controversy) at 3 Gemini, T-Squared asteroid Truth 249521 at 9 Virgo and Damocles 5335 at 10 Pisces, for yet another controversy (Uranus) looming over Trump’s head (Damocles).
The incident has caused a furor in Italy and a minor diplomatic rift, when Italian Finance Minister Antonio Tajani cancelled a planned trip to Washington DC in protest of the deception and slander. Asteroid Antonia 272 (feminine form of Antonio) at 4 Cancer exactly conjoins TNO Chaos 19521, both within orb of the spotlighting Sun, highlighting the disarray and disruption (Chaos) that seems such a defining feature of the Trump era. The anger expressed toward Trump by Giorgia Meloni is seen as asteroid Georgia 359 (phonetic match) with Mars at 22 Taurus, ruling arguments and disagreements, squared a pairing of asteroids Washingtonia 886 (for the federal government) and Donn 4689 (for Trump) at 16 and 18 Leo, with blowback for the US generally displayed in Mars’ concomitant square to asteroid America 916 at 29 Leo. Washingtonia/Donn is also squared Trump’s natal asteroid Lie at 17 Taurus, perhaps the goad for this bizarre and pointless departure from reality.
Truth taking a detour through fantasy in Trump’s octogenarian brain is depicted as asteroid Veritas 490 (Latin for “truth”) at 20 Aquarius, semisquare Neptune at 4 Aries (fantasy, illusion, deception) and sesquiquadrate Trump’s natal Donn/Mercury (Trump’s/Donn mind/Mercury) conjunction at 7 and 8 Cancer.
