Alex's Asteroid Astrology

They say karma is a bitch, and that may be especially true now, with asteroid Karma in a protracted conjunction with Pluto.  Evildoers beware!  For two months, from mid-January through mid-March 2023, this powerhouse duo will be out for payback, settling old accounts and teeing up retribution via devastating transformation of circumstances.  Karma is the principle of being called to account for prior bad acts, while Pluto counts among the denizens of its bailiwick things like sex and scandal, criminality and resurrection.  Two souls currently dealing with the resurrection of past transgressions, and the high probability that the time has come to pay for them, are actor Alec Baldwin and former US president Donald Trump. 

On January 30, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg began presenting evidence to a Grand Jury investigating Trump’s 2016 campaign finance law violations, when he illegally paid hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, with whom he’d had an extramarital affair, just weeks before the election.  The DA had formerly passed on prosecution in this case, but as Karma came to conjoin Pluto, the charge, phoenixlike, rose from the ashes, to join the half-dozen or so other pending legal challenges facing Trump, each carrying a threat of hefty fines or imprisonment upon conviction.

On January 31, Santa Fe County District Attorney Mary Carmack-Altwies charged Baldwin with two counts of involuntary manslaughter in the death of director Halyna Hutchins, victim of an accidental shooting in October 2021 on the set of “Rust”, with Baldwin wielding a prop gun he had been told was safe.  Both events show celestial patterns that well describe the terrestrial realities.

Let’s begin with Alec Baldwin.  We’ve already covered the basic facts of this story at the time of the accident.  What we’ll focus on now is how that is reflected in real time with the indictment. 

First of note, the victim is strongly emphasized for the day, as is appropriate when seeking justice for her death.  Halyna Hutchins is represented by asteroids Galina (Halyna is an East Slavic name, the Ukrainian transliteration of what is rendered as Galina in Russian; Ms Hutchins was born in Ukraine), Hutchison and Hutchings, closest to Hutchins.  Transit asteroid Galina at 16 Aquarius is spotlighted by the 11 Aquarius Sun, and this pairing overlays Alec Baldwin’s (born 3 April 1958, no time available) natal exact Mars/Damocles conjunction at 12 Aquarius with natal asteroid Nemesis at 16 Aquarius.  Mars/Damocles suggests a threatened doom hanging overhead (Damocles) related to a shooting or a gun (Mars), while Nemesis is the source of downfall or ruin, often self-created.  Sun/Galina also squares transit asteroid Hutchings at 8 Scorpio, further highlighting Halyna Hutchins on the day of indictment for responsibility in her death.

Transit asteroid Hutchison is also prominent; at 20 Gemini, Hutchison is at station, preparing to turn direct on February 8^th.  It conjoins asteroid Rusty (for the movie “Rust”) at 21 Gemini, which is also stationary, turning direct February 5^th.  From there, these square transit Neptune at 23 Pisces, with asteroids Alecsun at 19 Pisces and Themis at 28 Pisces also activated.  Alecsun is the only CNA (Compound-Name Asteroid, comprised of first and last names strung together as one word) beginning with “Alec,” Baldwin’s chosen nickname from his given name of Alexander.  Themis is named for the Greek goddess of justice, and Neptune rules incarceration and imprisonment, which may yet be the outcome for Baldwin. 

Transit Hutchison/Rusty also conjoin Baldwin’s natal asteroids Baldwin and Alecsun at 24 and 25 Gemini, tying him directly to the victim and the set where the shooting took place, as well as natal asteroid Reid at 21 Gemini, representing the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, also indicted for the death (she was responsible for ensuring that the gun was “cold”, with no live ammunition).  A T-Square is formed by opposition to natal Saturn, ancient lord of death and ruler of penalties, at 25 Sagittarius.

Alec Baldwin is further represented by transit asteroid Alexander at 25 Aquarius, exactly conjunct both Saturn and asteroid Icarus, as well as transit asteroids Atropos at 26 Aquarius and Hanna (alternate spelling of Hannah) at 28 Aquarius, exact with Damocles.  This binds both defendants (Alexander, Hanna) with each other and the crux of the matter – accountability and punishment (Saturn) for a death (Saturn, Atropos) based on rash or reckless acts heedless of the consequences (Icarus), resulting in a doom hanging over both their heads (Damocles).  This cluster also squares transit asteroid Anubis at 28 Scorpio, named for the Egyptian deity governing funerary rites, for another tie-in to the theme of death.

Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed are similarly bound in a Grand Cross pattern, centered on transit asteroid Baldwin at 4 Gemini conjoined transit Mars at 10 Gemini, opposed transit asteroid Requiem at 4 Sagittarius, squared transit asteroids Lachesis and Reid (homophone of Reed) at 3 Pisces, transit Venus at 5 Pisces, and transit asteroid Justitia at 9 Pisces, also squared transit asteroid Gutierrez at 4 Virgo.  Asteroids Baldwin, Reid and Gutierrez represent the co-defendants; Mars is the gun and shooting; Requiem is named for the funeral mass for the dead; Lachesis is named for the Fate who determines the span of life; Justitia is named for the Roman goddess of justice; and Venus indicates a woman at the center of the indictment, in this case, the victim, Halyna Hutchins.  Another neat cosmic summation of the case.  The Pisces points connect with Baldwin’s natal asteroids Hutchings and Rusty at 10 and 13 Pisces, the Gemini points connect with his natal Hanna at 6 Gemini, and Reid connects with natal Pluto/Galina at 0 and 8 Virgo.

Truly, three individuals bound up in fate.

Also of note, prosecutor Mary Carmack-Altwies appears as transit asteroid Mary, which at 7 Taurus conjoins transit Uranus at 14 Taurus, squares the transit Sun/Galina pairing and forms a T-Square with transit Hutchings, for the somewhat unexpected and controversial (Uranus) indictment (Mary) of Baldwin in the death of Halyna Hutchins (Galina, Hutchings).  Mary also squares Baldwin’s natal grouping of asteroids Osiris, Gunn and Uranus at 0, 3 and 7 Leo, representing the potential for a fatal (Osiris) accidental (Uranus) shooting (Gunn) at some point in the life.

Natal asteroid Mary at 29 Leo closely cojoins Pluto at 0 Virgo, planetary ruler of homicide, as well as natal asteroid Rip (“RIP”) at 27 Leo, connecting the DA (Mary) to a death (Rip) with potentially disastrous effects (Pluto) for Baldwin.  Mary is also at station, turning direct a week after Baldwin’s birth, indicating someone who plays a major role in his life.  Rip is at its station degree as well.

Transit TNO Ixion, named for the first murderer in Greek myth, appears at 3 Capricorn, squaring transit Jupiter at 5 Aries, ruling celebrities, in a T-Square with transit asteroid Osiris (named for the Egyptian god of the dead) at 7 Libra, coming to station retrograde on February 4^th.  This pattern connects with Baldwin’s natal asteroid Justitia at 3 Libra, forming a Grand Cross with his natal asteroid Hutchison at 1 Cancer.  Transit asteroid Gunn (for “gun”) at 14 Capricorn exactly opposes natal asteroid Themis, bringing Baldwin to justice (Themis) for the shooting (Gunn).

It’s not looking good for Alec Baldwin, doubly charged with manslaughter as both the producer of “Rust” and the man who held the gun when it discharged.  Time will tell if the case against him will hold up in court.

Donald Trump’s legal woes at this point are legion, if not legendary.  Like the mythic hydra, cut off one head and two emerge to replace it.  Putting Donald in the hot seat now especially is the ongoing extended conjunction of asteroids Troemper and Karma, now starting to gain steam with its concomitant conjunction to Pluto.  We’ve already done the spade work on the Stormy Daniels story, in two prior pieces for AAA, one when the scandal initially broke, and the other when Stormy Daniels was interviewed by Anderson Cooper on “60 Minutes”, but we haven’t examined the legal proceedings.

Last year former Manhattan DA Cy Vance, who had been investigating campaign finance law violations regarding Trump and Stormy Daniels for years, retired from office and bequeathed the case to his successor, Alvin Bragg.  Bragg initially passed on prosecution, prompting the resignation of two key prosecutors on the case, who felt charges were appropriate. 

But the worm has turned, and Bragg is now presenting evidence to a Grand Jury, a final step before indictments are issued.  The revelation that the case had been revived came on January 30^th, with the Pluto/Karma conjunction being joined by asteroid Troemper, our celestial referent for The Donald.  Exactly with Troemper at 20 Capricorn is asteroid Daniel, one of three referents for Stormy Daniels’ last name.  On one side, we see Mercury (news, testimony) at 15 Capricorn, exactly conjunct asteroid Daniela, another cosmic marker for the porn star turned presidential plaything, with asteroid Bragg, for current Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, also in orb from 10 Capricorn.  On the other side we have that Karma/Pluto pairing at 23 and 28 Capricorn, opposing asteroid Daniels, the exact match for her surname, at 29 Cancer.  This collectively binds the prosecutor, the defendant, and the topic under investigation.

Stormy Daniels is a “stage name,” if you will; Ms. Daniels’ legal identity is Stephanie Clifford, and these names show prominently as well.  The Sun at 10 Aquarius conjoins asteroid Manhattan at 2 Aquarius, representing the DA’s office pushing the prosecution, and together these square asteroid Stephania at 8 Taurus, itself conjunct Uranus at 14 Taurus, for the surprise revival of the case.  Asteroid Stefani (another Stephanie variant) at 27 Pisces conjoins asteroid Whitehouse (recalling Trump’s presidency) at 26 Pisces, exact with asteroid Sturm (German for “storm”, for Stormy), with Neptune standing by at 23 Pisces, ruling fraud and possible prison time.  These form a loose T-Square with asteroid Storm (also for Stormy) at 16 Virgo and asteroid Clifford at 19 Sagittarius.

Interestingly, asteroid Clifford is about to return to its natal degree of 24 Sagittarius in Donald Trump’s birth chart.  From there it forms an exact triple conjunction with asteroid Achilles, which relates to a weakness or vulnerability, an inherent flaw which threatens to destroy the individual (as in “Achilles heel”), and TNO Salacia, noted for scandal, particularly of a sexual nature.  This “Clifford Return” affords a reset on the natal potential, reinforcing that and facilitating its manifestation.  With this grouping also conjoined the natal Moon at 21 Sag and opposed the natal Sun at 22 Gemini, it has the ability to powerfully affect Trump.  Adding emphasis is natal asteroid Storm, for Stormy, which at 27 Libra is stationary (turning direct two days after his birth), marking it as a potent element of his biography.  This is currently being squared by the transit Pluto/Karma conjunction, bringing the wheel full circle.

DA Alvin Bragg is further represented by asteroid Alvin, which at 9 Libra is trine the Sun and at station, turning retrograde the very day the Grand Jury was empaneled.  Bragg’s sudden change of heart in the case may well be a result of his celestial referent’s sudden change of direction, with Alvin also conjoined asteroid Donn (for Donald Trump) at 13 Libra.  Natally, Trump has asteroid Alvin at 29 Scorpio, conjoined the 24 Scorpio IC, giving it angular force and power, and exactly T-Squared the Ascendant/Descendant axis at 29 Leo/Aquarius, granting Bragg (Alvin) the ability to alter how others see Trump (Ascendant).  Natal asteroid Bragg at 5 Cancer conjoins Mercury at 8 Cancer, opposes asteroid Whitehouse at 4 Capricorn (with Trump’s presidential run as the reason for the campaign law infraction), and forms a T-Square with Neptune at 5 Libra (fraud, deception, incarceration).

This thing is not in the bag, nothing ever is with this version of the “Teflon Don”, but with this development, the Manhattan DA’s case rises to the top of the simmering pot of legal woes.  As always, time will tell.
