On June 15^th, 2022, the House Select Committee on January 6^th released Capitol security footage of an unofficial tour led by Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) the day before the January 6^th Capitol Insurrection, clearly showing participants taking photos of congressional security checkpoints, stairwells, tunnels and basement hallways.  Not your typical tourist highlights.

Shortly after the attempted coup, Loudermilk was rumored to have assisted potential 1/6 rioters in “casing the joint”, providing access to areas normally reserved for members and staff.  At first Loudermilk denied giving any tours at all.  Then he said it was just families with young kids.  Then he admitted touring a group of 16 adults.  During a time period when official tours were banned due to COVID concerns.   But it was totally normal.  Riiight….

One of the individuals taking photos of the tunnels had travelled to DC on January 4^th in one of several “Keep America Great” coaches, bringing attendees for Trump’s speech prior to the certification of Biden’s 2020 election victory.  The following day he formed part of Loudermilk’s group, recording himself in the basement rotunda.  When the footage was released, the Select Committee stated that some of the people on Loudermilk’s tour attended the “Save America” rally that took place on the Ellipse on the morning of January 6, where Trump spoke and urged his supporters to march to the Capitol.

Comparison with additional footage of the protesters showed that the man taking subterranean photographs on Loudermilk’s tour had joined the march to the Capitol and threatened members of Congress.  “There’s no escape, Pelosi, Schumer, Nadler,” the man said as the Capitol was being breached, the video shows.  “They’re coming in, coming in like white on rice for Pelosi, Nadler, even you, AOC.  We’re coming to take you out and pull you out by your hairs.”

The information was released in a letter demanding cooperation in the investigation from Loudermilk, who had refused a prior subpoena request to testify.  Loudermilk’s office responded with a letter from the Capitol Police chief saying of its own review of the footage: “We do not consider any of the activities we observed as suspicious,” also decrying the “false narrative” that Republican members of Congress provided “reconnaissance tours” to rioters.

However, the video doesn’t square with Loudermilk’s earlier descriptions of the tour.  Aides had stated, “There were no tours, no large groups, no one with MAGA hats on,” and termed the tour “typical”, but footage released by the January 6 Committee shows a man with a “Make America Great Again” hat among those walking with Loudermilk, as he led a group of people through different tunnels underneath the Capitol, but never reaching the main building, which would presumably be the focus of a “typical” tour.

A comparison of Loudermilk’s birth chart (22 December 1963, no time available) with the chart for the tour (5 January 2021) and his recent exposure as a liar (15 June 2022) yields some fascinating results.  I’ll be using asteroids Barry and Milkey for Barry Loudermilk.

What stands out at first glance is the stationary status of asteroid Washingtonia in all three charts!  Points at station exert an influence disproportionately greater than the norm, and with natal Washingtonia turning retrograde at 29 Leo, in trine to the Sun (which is either 29 Sagittarius or 0 Capricorn, depending on birth time) less than a week before his birth, the nation’s capital exerts quite a pull on Loudermilk’s psyche.  With asteroid House conjunct the Sun from 28 Sagittarius, it’s no surprise that the form that attraction took is as a member of the House of Representatives; asteroid Georgia opposed the Sun from 24 Gemini identifies the state he represents. 

But it’s not as simple as that.  There’s also a Grand Trine Kite pattern formed by a trine to asteroid Nemesis at 1 Taurus, which opposes asteroid Troemper at 5 Scorpio on the String of the Kite, guiding its manifestation, with asteroid Karma beside it at 7 Scorpio.  Nemesis represents ruin or undoing, often self-created; Troemper is our celestial referent for The Donald; and Karma relates to a fated circumstance, as well as the need to atone for our actions.  Put it all together, and we have a preordained (Karma) incident in DC (Washingtonia) leading to a downfall (Nemesis) set in motion by Trump (Troemper).

With asteroid Barry at 3 Aries squared the Sun and asteroid Milkey at 25 Cancer opposed Mercury at 19 Capricorn, ruling the naming function, Loudermilk’s PNAs (Personal-Named Asteroids) fit the typical pattern of contacting Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Mercury; Jupiter nearby at 10 Aries identifies politics as the venue.  Asteroid Photographica at 2 Aries conjoins Barry and squares the Sun, suggesting visual imagery has a vital role to play in his biography. Asteroid Whitehouse at 15 Libra opposed asteroid Lie at 17 Aries predisposes Loudermilk to accept the false narrative (Lie) of the Big Lie told by the president (Whitehouse), that the 2020 election had been stolen, and links him directly to its propagation.  A T-Square with Mercury suggests involvement in the planning (Mercury) for the coup, providing details, pertinent data and maps (all Mercury), while Mercury’s exact conjunction with TNO Salacia indicates a scandal of some sort ensuing from the event; a wide Grand Cross with Milkey implicates Loudermilk personally.

Another T-Square from Saturn at 19 Aquarius opposed asteroid America at 13 Leo, with Neptune on the fulcrum at 16 Scorpio, describes Loudermilk’s conservative (Saturn) bona fides in the nation (America), and points to a degree of fanaticism (Neptune) or willful distortion and misrepresentation (also Neptune), using his official position (Saturn) to hoodwink (Neptune) the country (America).

Incredibly, not only is Washingtonia at station on all three dates, it’s also turning retrograde each time.  This suggests an attempt to return to former conditions in the nation, looking backward, trying to stem the tide of progress, all popular themes of conservatism, with its accent on a return to the mythic “good old days” that never were.  This is reinforced by the Sun’s opposition to natal asteroid Eurydike at 6 Cancer (T-Squared by Barry, for a personal touch), with its focus on reclaiming what has been lost beyond recall, and an emphasis on sentimental nostalgia for a bygone circumstance.

Appropriately for the January 5^th, 2021 tour conducted by Loudermilk, Washingtonia, stationing retro at 21 Virgo on the 5^th, is accompanied by asteroid Lie at 26 Virgo, which turned retrograde the very same day!  This shows the capital (Washingtonia) at a literal “turning point” in its fortunes, heavily influenced by deception and subterfuge (Lie), a vivid description of the insurrection (and indeed, this figures prominently also in the chart for the Epiphany Coup). 

There is a third point at its retrograde station in this chart, asteroid Photographica, which relates to imagery of all kinds, including still pictures and video.  At 7 Virgo, Photographica doesn’t conjoin Washingtonia/Lie, but it does conjoin asteroid Karma at 2 Virgo, which had itself turned retro on December 27^th, and remains at that degree for the tour and the insurrection to follow.  Together, these square the fifth and final point at station – asteroid Milkey, our celestial stand-in for Loudermilk, which turned retrograde at 2 Gemini three days after the tour, on January 8^th, putting Loudermilk at a “turning point” also, a pivotal moment which would have far-reaching repercussions. 

Asteroid Barry at 25 Leo is on the fulcrum of a T-Square with Troemper at 21 Taurus, opposed Nemesis at 25 Scorpio.  This again exposes Loudermilk (Barry) to potential ruin or disaster (Nemesis), with the 45^th President (Troemper) as a key factor in his discomfiture.

“The more things change, the more they remain the same,” seems to be the cosmos’ message for the date when Loudermilk’s duplicity was exposed.  On June 15, 2022, asteroids Washingtonia, Milkey and Photographica are once again all at station, reprising their roles from the reconnaissance tour before the attempted coup.  Milkey actually turns direct on the very day the reporting broke, prompting the change in direction for Loudermilk’s fortunes; at 28 Libra, it is widely conjunct Washingtonia at 20 Libra, which would follow suit and turn direct two days later.  Milkey is also exactly squared Pluto at 28 Capricorn, signifying a transformational moment for Loudermilk, and potentially opening him up to criminal charges (both Pluto). 

Milkey and Washingtonia are in a Grand Trine with the Sun at 24 Gemini and Saturn at 25 Aquarius, conjoined Photographica, stationing retrograde at 20 Aquarius on the 20^th.  The focus (Sun) is on a government official (Saturn) in DC (Washingtonia), involving visual images (Photographica), for which there may be punishment to follow (Saturn again); Milkey ties the energy specifically to Loudermilk.

The Sun doubly “outs” Loudermilk, with a Grand Cross highlighting him further.  The crux of the pattern is a literal “Truth vs Lie” situation, with asteroid Truth at 22 Virgo opposing asteroid Lie at 18 Pisces, in combination with Whitehouse at 20 Pisces, Nemesis at 23 Pisces and Neptune at 25 Pisces.  The Sun at 24 Gemini squares these and opposes asteroid Barry at 0 Capricorn, as well as Loudermilk’s natal Sun (29 Sag/0 Cap).  The pattern is illuminating and exposing (Sun) both Loudermilk’s (Barry) deception (Lie) and the actual facts (Truth), linking him once again with the prior administration (Whitehouse) and the possible consequences to flow from his actions (Nemesis) in facilitating the picture-taking and then misrepresenting it (with Neptune ruling both photography and deceit).  Milkey is also squared to a combination of Jupiter and TNO Salacia at 5 and 8 Aries, defining a political (Jupiter) scandal (Salacia) in which Loudermilk has become embroiled.

The exact trine from Washingtonia at 20 Libra to Photographica at 20 Aquarius, both at station, is precisely bisected by asteroid Karma at 20 Scorpio, on their midpoint and exactly sextile each.  This suggests Loudermilk being called to account for his prior actions (Karma) regarding photos (Photographica) at the Capitol (Washingtonia), but we have yet to see what punishment that might entail.
