In Like Flynn
On Friday, December 1st, 2017, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn pled guilty to a charge of lying to the FBI, and agreed to cooperate with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into the Trump campaign’s possible collusion with Russia during the election, and subsequent acts which may constitute obstruction of justice on the part of the president.
Flynn’s defection could be a death blow for Donald Trump’s presidency, as the former general was deep in Trump’s councils throughout the campaign itself, during the transition, and his brief tenure in the Trump White House. In the vernacular, he knows where all the bodies are buried. Spewing invective from both sides of his mouth at once, virtually no one on the planet has avoided Trump’s sharp diatribes, with the exception of two individuals: Vladimir Putin and Michael Flynn, neither of whom has ever evoked so much as a disgruntled murmur from the president. The question remains, why? Why are these two invariably spared?
Does this man look worried? He ought to be.
Trump went so far as to attempt to shield Flynn from the consequences of his lying, requesting former FBI Director James Comey to back off his investigation. When Comey refused, he was later fired, prompting the appointment of Robert Mueller as Special Counsel to complete the investigation, which has now expanded into further areas of potential wrongdoing by the president.
We’ve looked at the Trump inaugural chart before. One of its most salient features, regarding PNAs, is the conjunction of asteroid Flynn at 21 Aquarius with Damocles, that point of doom hanging unseen overhead, at 22 Aquarius. This suggests both that Michael Flynn’s involvement with the White House would be his own doom (a prophecy that came true in record time, with Flynn ousted from his NSA position just 25 days after being sworn in, and now becoming a convicted felon with this plea deal), but also that he has the capacity to flip the coin and act as a doom-bringer for the occupant of the White House, Donald J. Trump. Incredibly, both these degrees are occupied in the chart for the announcement of Flynn’s deal. Damocles is currently at 21 Aquarius exactly conjunct the Flynn of the Trump administration chart, and asteroid Whitehouse occupies Damocles’ position from that chart, at 22 Aquarius. Transit asteroid Flynn’s degree is significant, also. At 19 Gemini, Flynn conjoins Trump’s natal Sun, but is also exactly squared transit asteroid Troemper at 19 Virgo, again showing conflict between the two.

In addition, both asteroids Michelle and Michel, French male and female variants of “Michael”, appear at station in the inauguration chart, at 27 and 29 Virgo respectively, both in trine to the 0 Aquarius Sun of the administration. This establishes Flynn as deeply embedded in the workings of the White House, and pivotal to its functioning, a still point upon which all else revolves. Asteroid Michel is currently at 23 Scorpio, squaring transit Whitehouse/Damocles, suggesting a crisis point, with the two entities, Flynn and the Oval Office, now at variance and in conflict. Asteroid Michelle is now at 2 Sagittarius, within orb of the transit Sun at 9 Sagittarius, signaling Flynn’s importance to the day.
A third variant of Michael (for which there is no exact PNA match) is asteroid Michela, which at 5 Sagittarius in the Trump administration chart, is also conjoined by the transit Sun for this revelation, and appears at 11 Capricorn in this chart, conjoined asteroid Achilles at 8 Capricorn, which represents a point of weakness or vulnerability. Michela is also within orb of transit Pluto at 17 Capricorn, symbolizing destruction and devastation, as well as scandal.
Tantrums won’t help, Donald; Flynn has cut his deal and you’ll have to live with it.
That’s quite a line-up, but there’s more. The Sun also conjoins transit asteroid Pandora, which represents the unleashing of unintended negative consequences, at 11 Sagittarius. What will pop out of the Pandora’s box of Flynn’s cooperation with the investigation? Asteroid Mueller at 8 Scorpio is within orb of an exact pairing of TNO Typhon and asteroid Lie at 3 Scorpio, and transit Jupiter at 11 Scorpio. Typhon represents storms, both literal and metaphorical, as in “a storm of troubles”, with lies or falsehoods being the theme, and Mueller representing the Special Counsel, in tandem with Jupiter, judge and arbiter of justice. Asteroid Karma is just down the celestial road at 13 Scorpio, implying a comeuppance for past bad acts.

Asteroid Roberta, feminine form of Robert, appears at 29 Taurus, opposing both Michel and Michelle, and forming a loose T-Square with Damocles/Whitehouse. This pair has been running together within five degrees of each other since April, with the last of their exact conjunction occurring just a week prior to this disclosure, on November 24th. Their first exact conjunction was within days of Mueller’s appointment as Special Counsel in May, and they continue within orb for another two weeks. The entire period has been one of deadly peril for the administration in general and the occupant of the Oval Office in particular.
Further reinforcing Mueller’s pivotal involvement in the day is asteroid Roberts, which at 25 Sagittarius conjoins Washingtonia at 26 Sagittarius, representing the nation’s capital, Saturn at 27 Sagittarius, ruling penalties in law, and Mercury, the Media and the news, at 29 Sagittarius.
All these oppose Trump’s natal Sun at 22 Gemini, with transit Troemper, our celestial stand-in for The Donald, currently at 19 Virgo and roughly squaring this polarity, creating another T-Square.

Much has been made lately of Trump’s deteriorating mental condition, and we can see the pressure applied by Mueller in his celestial namesake’s exact conjunction with transit asteroid Ophelia at 25 Sagittarius. Ophelia is named for the Shakespearean character in “Hamlet” who goes insane and drowns herself, and functions reliably as an indicator of mental instability. Trump has this point at station natally, at 27 Aquarius (in trine to his Sun), which is just now being visited by that transit Damocles/Whitehouse combination. The implication of this and Ophelia/Mueller/Washingtonia/Saturn is that the stresses of the office and the investigation combined have been just too much for Trump, who is rapidly losing whatever slender grasp on reality he once enjoyed. The cosmic pressure was ramped up on natal Ophelia when the “American Eclipse” of August opposed it by one degree; the subsequent Solar Eclipse in February 2018 will exactly conjoin it.
Wat will Flynn reveal, what does it mean, and what will ensue? These questions remain to be answered, but one thing appears certain – Mueller’s net is closing in on the Big Fish.
