Early on the morning of Saturday, August 10^th, 2019, billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein was found unresponsive in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, in an apparent suicide attempt. Paramedics were called and lifesaving measures were begun, but Epstein was pronounced dead about an hour later at a local hospital.

Epstein had been arrested on charges relating to sex trafficking of minors in July, and a few weeks earlier had been put on suicide watch after allegedly attempting to kill himself, but the extra security was dropped after a week. There continues to be speculation about the first abortive attempt, and the authenticity of this successful second effort, but federal prison authorities have downplayed this notion. The death came shortly after the release of documents on Friday which allegedly implicate former president Bill Clinton, former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, and Prince Andrew of Great Britain, among others, in Epstein’s crimes, adding fuel to the conspiracy theories, since Epstein will not now be available to testify against them.

AAA has already profiled Epstein after his arrest, but at the time, death indicators were not considered germane to the issue at hand. This article looks at the chart with a fresh eye in that regard, and analyzes the transits in effect at the time of his death.

A number of asteroids connect with the theme of suicide, but with the cause of death given as hanging, this points to Arachne, the noted mythic weaver who hanged herself after competing with the goddess Athena in a contest, and gave her name to those master weavers, spiders, classed as Arachnida. Born 20 January 1953, Jeffrey Epstein has natal Arachne at 4 Scorpio, squared the 0 Aquarius Sun and opposed Jupiter at 11 Taurus. This could indicate a prominent (Jupiter) suicide by hanging (Arachne squared the Sun); a Grand Cross with Askalaphus at 11 Leo suggests that the proximate motive may have been the revealing of secrets, an aversion to having to bear witness against former friends and co-conspirators. That there should be some mystery, riddle or enigma surrounding his death is foreshadowed by asteroid Sphinx, representing matters hidden or inscrutable, conjoined the Sun and squared Arachne from 1 Aquarius

Epstein had a remarkable number of death indicators at station, suggesting a prominence of the theme of death in his life or biography. Asteroids Rip (as the acronym “RIP”, “Rest In Peace”) at 9 Libra, Anubis (named for Egyptian deity governing funerary rites) at 10 Libra and Lachesis (named for the mythic Greek fate who determines the span of life) at 24 Taurus are all stationary, changing direction within a week of his birth, and widely trine the Sun. In addition, asteroid Requiem, named for the funeral mass for the dead, is squared the Sun from 29 Aries; Osiris, named for the Egyptian god of the dead, is semisquare from 13 Pisces; and Atropos at 24 Pisces, named for the Fate who severs the thread of life at death, is at the Apex of a Yod, or Finger of Destiny, with Saturn and Pluto, respectively the ancient and modern lords of death, at 27 Libra and 22 Leo. Atropos also squares natal asteroid Geoffroy, phonetic match to Jeffrey, at 22 Gemini, in a T-Square with asteroid Manhattan at 28 Sagittarius, the New York borough where he died.

When the 911 call was placed at 6:39 AM EDT on August 10, the transiting Ascendant at 23 Leo was one degree past the natal degree of Pluto, which some ascribe as the planetary ruler of suicide. Mars was also rising, at 25 Leo, indicating the violent manner of death. Both Pluto and Mars also have connections to homicide, perhaps validating the conspiracy theorists (though there is nothing else in the chart which points to outside involvement).

Setting on the 23 Aquarius Descendant was Anubis at 19 Aquarius, with Damocles at 25, that doom hanging unseen overhead. There is the repeated suggestion of hanging with this point, based in the myth of the sword suspended above its potential victim.

Asteroids Geoffroy and Requiem were conjunct at 0 Scorpio and 29 Libra, combining Epstein with another death indicator in the sky; these had anti-culminated about an hour before Epstein was discovered, shortly after which the transiting IC rolled over his natal Arachne, about 45 minutes prior to the discovery, perhaps the moment he actually did the deed. Geoffroy was also exactly opposed natal Requiem, doubling down on that effect. The IC of the discovery at 16 Scorpio was about to conjoin transit Jeffers, another Jeffrey variant, at 18 Scorpio, closely squared Anubis.

Perhaps most staggering, transit asteroid Epstein at 21 Capricorn was an exact match for Pluto, and bound up in a cluster including Saturn at 15 Cap and asteroid Manhattan at 18. This combines both ancient and modern planetary rulers of death with the surname of the decreased and the place he died. Adding to the improbability factor here is that Pluto/Epstein exactly conjoins an exact natal pairing of Mercury with asteroid Icarus, where Icarus describes rash, reckless acts and Mercury incudes strangulation in its bailiwick, a truly astounding concatenation of elements.  These form a T-Square with transit asteroid Lachesis at 21 Cancer and her sister Atropos at 22 Aries, the Fates who determine the span of life and then cut it short when the allotted time has been reached. Transit Arachne at 1 Cancer is also in a T-Square, squared Osiris at 2 Libra and asteroid Karma at 2 Aries, suggesting some fated circumstance to the death; particularly so, with transit Karma exactly conjunct natal asteroid Epstein.

The theme of Epstein’s crimes of rape is also prominent, with transit Aristaeus, named for a mythic rapist, exactly conjoined asteroid Nemesis at 11 Leo, a point of ruin or self-undoing, and these exactly conjunct natal Askalaphus, the tale-bearer, as well as being within orb of the Sun at 17 Leo, also squared Jeffers and opposed Anubis. Transit Rip had come to its direct station just four days prior, embedding the theme of death for the period; at 8 Sagittarius, it was an exact match for Epstein’s natal Aristaeus. Transit Nemesis/Aristaeus signals the destruction of a rapist generally; Rip/Aristaeus pinpoints Epstein. The transit Moon at 20 Sagittarius was exactly conjunct natal Jeffers, and aligned closely with natal Nemesis at 21 Sag.  (NOTE:  Recent reporting suggests that Epstein was enabled to perform his act of self-destruction due to his guards being asleep on the job. Asteroid Morpheus, named for the Greek god of sleep, opposes Nemesis/Aristaeus from 7 Aquarius, affording that opportunity.  8/14/19)

Transit asteroid Jeffrich, the last Jeffrey variant, falls at 10 Virgo, opposing its natal degree of 12 Pisces, where it conjoins both Osiris and Mars, at 12 and 15 Pisces. These T-Square natal Aristaeus and transit Rip, with transit Jupiter at 14 Sagittarius. Jeffrich/Osiris/Mars in and of itself could suggest a violent death by his own hand.

By his act, Jeffrey Epstein has cheated Justice, and his accusers, who will now not have their day in court, to see sentence pronounced against their abuser. Civil suits will continue against the Epstein estate, but criminal prosecutions for co-conspirators may also be hampered, without his testimony. An ignominious end to an ignominious offender; perhaps justice has been done after all.

AUTHOR’S NOTE (8/13/19):

I’ve had a lot of feedback from readers who question the official story of Epstein’s death. While I personally see no reason to doubt this, I decided to look more closely at homicide indicators in both the suicide and birth charts.

First, that stunning exact conjunction of asteroid Epstein with Pluto could be read as murder. Pluto in death charts is typically simply that – a death; but it also rules homicide specifically, so that possibility cannot be ruled out. Pluto also rules criminals, so it may simply be descriptive of the death of a criminal, end of story. (Mars rules violent deaths, but the hanging qualifies for that whether Epstein did it himself or someone else helped, so it is mute on the issue here.)

What I look to for homicide specifically is TNO Ixion, named for the first murderer in Greek myth. Ixion in the death chart is not particularly active. At 26 Sagittarius, it is still within orb of natal Nemesis at 21 Sag, but has long since finished with the exact conjunction and has moved on (Ixion orbits very slowly, about two degrees a year, and it last conjoined Nemesis exactly in 2015).

However, natally, Ixion does make a strong statement. At 18 Libra, Ixion is stationary, turning retrograde four days before Epstein’s birth. This makes it an embedded force in his psyche, but as a psychological factor, Ixion most commonly represents a sense of entitlement, and particularly lack of gratitude or failing to appreciate and take advantage of a second chance which is offered, repeating mistakes. This certainly resonates to Epstein’s privileged lifestyle and his ability to avoid serious punishment on the first go-round with authorities on the issue of sex with minors, as well as his continued crimes after having been given that reprieve. A prominent Ixion can indicate some connection to murder, as offender, victim, witness or nearness of relation to the deceased, but this is not its predominant role in birth charts typically.

Again, as with Pluto/Epstein, there is reason for concern here, but nothing which stands out as definitive. I will note that natal Ixion does fall into the T-Square at Epstein’s death of Saturn/Pluto/Epstein, Lachesis, and Atropos, but that may simply refer to someone with a strong Ixion character profile (which Epstein had) being caught up in the event described by the chart.

As it stands, the death chart very ably describes Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide by hanging, and that is where I will leave this unless further evidence emerges.
